Type of Smoking: Hot Smoking/Warm Smoking Recommended

Temperature: Use moderate indirect heat.

Time: Approximately 1 to several hours is recommended.



Pork ribs (desired quantity)

Step 1: Prepare the Pork Ribs

Prepare the pork ribs by removing excess fat and skin and cutting them to your preferred size.

Step 2: Prepare the Seasonings

Get the seasonings ready for the pork ribs. Choose your preferred seasonings, such as salt and spices.

Step 3: Prepare the Smoking Chips

Select smoking chips and soak them in water for a while. Drain the excess water.

Step 4: Season the Pork Ribs

Apply the seasonings evenly to the prepped pork ribs. Make sure to coat them thoroughly.

Step 5: Start Smoking

Place damp smoking chips in the smoking device and position the pork ribs on the grill grate. Close the lid of the smoking device and commence smoking following your chosen smoking method.

Step 6: Adjust Smoking Time

Smoking time varies depending on the size and thickness of the pork ribs. As a general guideline, aim for around 1 to several hours, but adjust it to achieve your desired level of smokiness.

Step 7: Cook the Smoked Pork Ribs

Once smoking is completed, take out the smoked pork ribs and cook them using your preferred method. You can bake them in the oven, grill them, or simmer them, according to your preferences.

  1. Cut the smoked pork ribs into suitable sizes.
  2. Heat salad oil in a frying pan and sauté minced garlic and ginger.
  3. Add the pork ribs and sear the surface.
  4. Add sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and water, and bring it to a boil.
  5. Reduce to medium heat, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes.
  6. Cook the pork ribs thoroughly until tender.
  7. Once done, serve on a plate with rice or salad and enjoy!
